Along with its annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Welcome Party held on the Thursday night before the weekend’s popular two-day top-speed event in Central Missouri, Performance Boat Center is going to be providing an enormous amount of customer service and showing off a handful of boats—including the all-new 360 Doug Wright catamaran and a new top-of-the-line Sunsation Boats 34 CCX—throughout the week.
Powered by triple Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines, the new Sunsation Boats 34 CCX is for sale at Performance Boat Center.
According to Performance Boat Center’s Brett Manire, the Thursday night gathering of “who’s who in the powerboat industry” should be better than ever.
“We’re going to spice it up a little bit more this year,” Manire said. “We’re adding an extra bar, improving the parking situation and, for the first time, putting together a fireworks show. It should be pretty cool. The unveiling the first 360 Doug Wright is also going to be part of the fun.”
From the Wednesday Shootout on the Strip to the Thursday party, not to mention two days at the docks at Captain Ron’s and some runs down the new 3/4-mile Shootout course, Jared Morris, one of the owners of Sunsation, said he’s excited that the company’s latest demo model, which is for sale at Performance Boat Center, will be on display throughout the event.
“The boat runs great and the interior looks awesome,” said Morris, who commissioned Kustom Kolors in Ohio to handle the paint and Waves and Wheels at Lake of the Ozarks to handle the interior and the Bluave Marine Audio entertainment system. “The dash is so cool with the two huge 22-inch Garmin displays and I really like the honeycomb-pattern we did for the interior and the SeaDek flooring. It all ties in great with the graphics.”
